I'll love my black leggings forever, but we're only 5 days away from the official start of spring so it's time to update my gym wear for the warmer weather. Soon, I'll be saying bye to most of my full length leggings (especially my fleece lined pairs) and grabbing my capris and shorts. Not complaining though!
Here are some ways to keep your sweat style fresh for spring.
Pastels/Pantone Colors - In case you missed it, the Pantone Colors for spring include rose quartz, peach echo, buttercup and limpet shell. I love the idea of updating your active wear with these soothing colors!
Florals - Florals are always in for spring (#groundbreaking), so why not sport it at the gym too? I wear these floral Calia by Carrie capris on the regular and definitely want to get a new pair or 2 of floral leggings.
Light Layers - The weather this week has been cloudy, yet sort of warm and windy which makes it hard to figure out what to wear. Luckily layers are your friend! Whether you're heading to the gym, a yoga class or kickboxing, you'll always be able to shed layers once you start to get your sweat on - and then easily throw a layer or 2 back on if it's chilly outside.
White Sneakers - It's no secret white sneakers are back and go with everything which is why they go quickly every time I stalk my favorite pairs. They're perfect for a day in DC, or going from gym to brunch. Your feet will definitely thank you!
