After searching for tons of recipes online while doing the 21 Day Fix Extreme, I really wanted to try a pizza that fit the program. So I figured why not come up with my own recipe using the appropriate portions/containers.
I decided to use a tortilla which makes for a sort of thin "crust" - and it turned out so yummy that I've been making them for dinner or lunch on the weekends. I probably enjoy them too much throughout the week, but they have all the right portions that won't throw off your goals.
21 Day Fix Extreme Tortilla Pizza
1 whole wheat tortilla
1/4 cup no sugar added pasta sauce
1 cup baby spinach, chopped
1/3 cup Italian shredded cheese
1. Spread sauce over tortilla; leaving some room at the edges
2. Add the spinach, ground turkey and cheese
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes
Makes 1 pizza. 21DFX container equivalent - 1 yellow, 1/4 purple, 1 green, 1 red, 1 blue
