I hope you all had a great weekend!! I'm already just over a week into the #21DFX so I spent a lot of time in the kitchen meal prepping. Saturday afternoon I had a fitness photo shoot for an upcoming project. It was 4 hours of sun, sweat, buddy workouts and some acroyoga and I only walked away with a little scrape. (That's what I get for practicing yoga on pavement...) I cannot wait to share much more on that soon but in the meantime, I have a fun event I want to share!
If you've been reading this blog, you know that I started practicing yoga last year. (See my journey here.) I absolutely love spending time on my yoga mat. It really helps me relieve stress, feel strong and grounded. And it gets even better if you're painting, too!! If you've been itching to try yoga for yourself and don't want to commit to a class, why not start with a Yogathon?
Yogathon is a charity fundraiser being held across the world to raise money for Care For Children, a program that provides education for children in India. Since 2012 nearly $60,000 has been raised! This is the fourth year for the event but the first time it's being held locally in Bethesda on August 22. It doesn't matter your level of practice so why not come out and enjoy a beautiful day of sun salutations and supporting a great cause? I hope to see you there!!
