Growing up, wearing white after Labor Day was unheard of. I remember tucking away every piece of white clothing I owned until it was "allowed" to come out again. It's now 2013 and sometimes rules need to be broken and white needs to be worn in winter - especially when there's nearly a foot of fluffy snow on the ground in Pennsylvania.

Upon seeing this bright orange sweater in Target, I wondered how I could style it for the cold months. Not too long after that, I decided on my white jeans and (to keep it more winter-ized) I'd add a chambray shirt underneath. And just like that a new outfit was born in my head, in the middle of Target. (When I simply went there for gift cards. Typical.)
