I thought I'd give you all a glimpse into what I wore to the airport on our way to Florida last week. My traveling outfit isn't much different than what I normally wear, but I have learned ways to make it easier when flying.

First of all comfort is key - but I refuse to travel in sweatpants and hoodie. Jeans and a cardigan can be just as comfortable! Since Florida was our destination, I added a button-up shirt underneath so I could shed the cardigan if needed in warmer weather.

In my opinion, flats are much easier to take off/put on going through security. The line was pretty long but getting through was easy (even though I was x-rayed AND patted down) and I didn't have to worry about quickly putting my boots back on.

A pashmina also doubles as a wrap for when I get chilly on the plane (and I did). As a matter of fact, I think I need to wear them more because I'm always cold! Oh and don't mind the glasses - I wear them for computer work and to keep my headaches and nausea minimal on the plane. (Glamorous, I know.)
