Target + Neiman Marcus Collection

December 3, 2012

I know a lot of you share my love for Target - and let me tell you my experience Saturday just made me love it more. I've been waiting over a month for the Target + Neiman Marcus collaboration to hit stores and had plans to get in line early (mainly because the release of Missoni was crazy). Here's how my morning went:

6am: Arrive at Target, sit in parking lot... alone and cold... plotting my attack
7am: Decided to stand in line in case people started showing up
7:45am: 10 people in line / couldn't feel my toes anymore
8am: My new BFF, Jason, finally opened the doors and I almost hugged him

The Target workers were so nice and that really helped what could have easily been a crazy experience. The items were in 1 place and there were at least 10 (sometimes 20+) of each item. I wanted so many more things once I actually saw them in person!! It's definitely one legendary partnership. So, despite the fact I was too excited, left the house without a jacket and stood outside of Target freezing for an hour, I still had THE best experience yet for the release of a collaboration! And of course a few items came home with me - which you'll see on the blog soon!

Did you go to Target or Neiman Marcus Saturday to shop the line? How was your experience?

Good news: If you didn't get up at 5am, like I did, you can still shop the collection here!

  1. I'm blogging about my experience at Neiman's tomorrow! :) I wanted so many more things once I saw them in person too! I'm surprised you were able to snap a pic of the yoga mats, they were one of the first things to go where I was!

Looks like we can twinsies in our LOFT outfits and Robert Rodriguez dresses! ;) haha

  5. You are dedicated!! I went on Saturday around 11am and they still hadn't put out a lot of items- to be honest I was underwhelmed. I don't know why but I really wanted to be wowed more and I didn't feel like anything wowed me that much. So needless to say I didn't buy anything but have considered checking it out again today to see if stuff is left and see if my feelings have changed.

  8. What did you end up getting? I went on Sunday and they had a ton of each item left. I was so surprised! I loved that it was all in one place which definitely helps.
